Wendy Angulo Productions joins Robleswrites for “Poets Recite from the Boogie Down to the Heights”

As part of the celebratory festival hosted by NYC Parks on July 25, 2015, Robleswrites Productions presents: Poets Recite from the Boogie Down to the The Heights! A free outdoor reading open to the public, sponsored by Poets and Writers and NYSCA, to commemorate the re-opening of the iconic High Bridge that connects Manhattan and the Bronx.
An event curated and hosted by our longtime supporter Peggy Robles Alvarado . Featuring poets Urayoan Noel, Roya Marsh, Bonafide Rojas, Rashawna Wilson and El David from the spoken word percussion band Machete Movement as they pay homage to this landmark and make poetic history 140 feet above the Harlem River. Reading/Performances will be from noon to 2 p.m.
